چکیده

By TADAO rfAKEUCHI AND KENJI KIN0SHITA I N PREVIOUS STIJI)IES Takeuchi et al.’5 have showni that anssylophosphorylase could be demisonsstrated ins humisams amid ansimal tissue by histochemical nieanss. They did this by using the specific staimsimsg reactions of polysaccharide niewly fornssed frons glucose-i-phosphate as a result of emizynse activity. The presemsce of the enizyme was dennomistrated ins high comicenstrationss ins skeletal amid tonsgue nssuscles, heart muscle, snssooth muscles of various organss, brain cortex, sweat glansds, the squansous epithelium of t-otsgue, esophagus amid vagina, hair follicles amid cartilage cells. The enszynie was nsoderately amid weakly densonistrated in liver cells, collecting tubules of the kidney, glonseruli of fetal amid pigeons kidmseys, nsiammiiary glansd, cortical cells of the adrensal glansd, etc. Oms the other hanid, Rohdewald6 ins a recemst study reported that phosphorylase could be demisonsstrated 1)iochensically ins a suspensions of horse i)lood leukocytes. For this reasons we at-tenspted the histochensical detections of leukocyt-e phosphorylase ins blood cells. Although it was readily showms ott frowns sectionis ins the leukocytes of imiflansimnat-ory lesionss, it has heens difficult to demssomsstrate ims peripheral l)lOOd amid bonse misarrow smears. Recenitly, however, it was successfully densonistrated by our originsal technic amid the nsiethod amid experinsienital results are reported in this paper.

Review of Effect of Storage Time before Freezing on Stem Cells Surveillance, Collected from Cord Blood, Peripheral Blood and Bone Marrow

Introduction: The use of cord stem cells, as a cell source for bone marrow reconstruction in patient under hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is enhancing. The amount of CD34+cells collected from cord blood compared to peripheral blood and bone marrow are less, but their collectionprocesure is easier. Delay in freezing has negative effect on cells surveillance and reduce their ability in ...

A Comparative Study of Therapeutic Benefits of Intraspinal and Intravenous Bone Marrow Stromal Cell Administration to Spinal Cord Injuries

Background: Recent reports demonstrated that intravenous route as a minimally invasive method, similar to direct injection, is suitable for bone marrow stromal cell (BMSC) transplantation. In this study, we made a comparison of intraspinal and intravenous route of BMSC administration to repair injured spinal cord tissue. Methods: Six groups of adult female rats were used in this study. Laminect...

Histochemical demonstration of diaphorases and dehydrogenases in normal human leukocytes and platelets.

T HE PROBLEMS involved in the cytochemical demonstration of the activity of oxidative enzyme systems in the cells of bone marrow and peripheral blood relate mainly to methods of fixation and to the ultimate identification of the cells in which the enzyme reaction takes place. Approaches have been suggested for the demonstration of the activity of specific dehydrogenase systems in blood cells, s...
